Ottawa, May 16, 2013  - Alex Healy returns to CTMP to start his fifth consecutive CTCC season in his familiar #5 Acura RSX on May 18- looking to change his luck at the famed track.

Reaching for the podium at this time last year, the young Ottawa driver had a fist-sized hole blow out in his exhaust to end his weekend outside the top ten. "It foreshadowed things to come, unfortunately," said Healy, "We were only able to compete in 4 of the events after both our engines and transmissions failed us."

Healy says it's time for a reboot for his talented Ottawa team. With extensive work to the car in the off-season to the RSX’s power train, and a complete refurbishing to all the components. Healy says he and his crew have an excellent opportunity to reach the podium and finish all seven CTCC events. "It sounds so predictable and obvious, but the old adage is true for us: to finish first, first you have to finish- and that is our plan for the 2013 season."

Returning with Alex are seasoned veterans Jeff Louis-Seize as Chief Mechanic, Jamie Leveille as Engineer with solid support from Race Techs, Pierre Clavet and Felix Lamy. All of the crew are from the Ottawa-Gatineau area and anxious to prove that Alex Healy Racing (AHR) can compete for a championship.

"We are thrilled to be able to welcome back our premier sponsor Gastops - who have been with me from the very beginning and without whom, we could not compete at this level."
